Target for The Zyklon’s – aka irrelevant character that dies

This character needs to be portrayed as vulnerable and tentative as he is walking through the woods and alleyways alone. He is unaware of who the Zyklon’s are and what they are capable of.  We want the character to be played by Sam Thompson. Sam is a confident person in front of a camera and has leadership qualities as as keen A-Level drama student we feel possessing these characteristics will support Optimus Semper as he can be responsible in keeping focusing and will be punctual. 

Zyklon 1

The leader of the Zyklon’s needs to be the most over the top character. He needs to be ruthless, merciless and a tactically genius mass murderer, all without saying a word. He needs to portray leadership and the other Zyklons should respect him. The role is controversial so we need someone who can be mature In dealing with the responsibility of the role. This responsibility can only be handed to James as we feel he would suit the role perfectly. James is devoted to the role and his infectious enthusiasm will motivate others to work as hard as he does as the Zyklon leader

Zyklon 2 

The second Zyklon is significant as he is responsible for dropping the bag that sets up the plot for the film. He has to over exaggerate how he inexplicably drops it so it doesn’t look obvious or intentional. Kieron Dodge is going to be playing the Zyklon as he is confident in front of the camera and will help our group as he has experience working in film with his YouTube channel Kieron Chris Videoing. Kieron can assist James in portraying a realistic white supremacist but one concern would be he takes his role to seriously, potentially causing offence but we will address this if it happens.

Zyklon 3

The final member of cast is going to be the third member of the Zyklon. This character needs to be the authority or the muscle of the group. Whereas the other two are sophisticated and erratic genius’s this character is the backbone to the operation. He needs to be taller and have connotations of power and strength. This character is debatable for who we are going to cast so we have short listed a few candidates. Our top target is Olly Newman; luckily we were able to  secure his services however we were willing to use Harrison Clarke as an alternative if necessary. Olly's size and dominance really portrayed him as the enforcer of the group.

Casting Interviews and Issues

We also interviewed Kieron and James for their roles, below are the two video's we produced. Unfortunately we had to change two of the Zyklon's from James and Kieron to Sean and Michael Welsh. With James withdrawing from KBA's sixth form he also decided to not continue with our project and Kieron decided to put the group first, notifying us in advance he would be unable to attend any of the days we had to film, giving us more time to find other members of the cast. Sean and Michael were willing to attend to their roles and they possess similar attributes to James and Kieron. We managed to get a picture of the three Zyklons together.
