Construction: Editing

Our first step when assessing how we would edit the opening was to insert all the clips together and to make a rough edit of what it would look like in order to fit in with the time limit. This meant we had to remove certain area's and trim clips down so we can add other clips in. We also allowed spaces to insert titles. Overall, we spent around half an hour inserting all the clips and making a rough edit.

We also left gaps for titles. The titles we used were influenced by our audience as we sent out a survey consisting of questions on how we can improve our opening and a request was to have titles in a certain way.

We chose between several fonts for the titles and decided 'Nanum Brush Script's was the most suitable for the look we wanted to achieve. We then added the titles onto our production.

After this we added sound which we embedded from Youtube. Our main aim was to make timings appropriate so when an actor made a specific action such as fall over or take a step the tempo of the music will sync with their action. We also had several sounds at once so we had to make sure one was not louder than another.

Finally, we had to adjust video settings in our edit as we found some of the clips we had recorded were dark so we raised the lighting to make them more visible.
